Tapped from the rubber tree in Malaysia, the sap is collected in barrels, and then made in N. America to guarantee purity with clean manufacturing processes. Latex was our foam pre 1967 before polyurethane foam took over. Latex is a healthier alternative to toxic and heat producing memory foam or other foam.
Talalay latex is available in different firmnesses, sizes, thickness, and can make the best mattresses or toppers to enhance your sleep. Latex is different from other materials when used as a topper. Adding a top layer of Talalay latex delivers a unique buoyant quality that relaxes muscles and relieves tension, lifting away the pressures of the day while you sleep.
Oeko-Tex certified is a designation accorded latex foams which means they are completely free from harmful chemicals and safe for human use. To attain the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, the material has to have been tested and certified to be free from harmful levels of more than 100 substances known to be harmful to human health.
These toppers are meant for pressure relief for the most part, although Sleepy's do offer firmer versions if needed. We offer 2" (takes the edge off), 2.5" (combination of pillowtop & support), and 3" (creates a luxurious pillowtop effect. We also offer soft and medium soft versions that would be based on body weight, size, and compression....for example, we would recommend the medium soft for sleepers over 200 lbs. and the soft for under 200 lbs.
(We do not include covers for our toppers as the topper will slide around on your mattress and the stretch knit covers can fold over under your body. The raw latex adheres to the mattress surface and you just tuck your mattress protector and fitted sheet over top for protection and better performance. Covers are available in different fabrics if needed.)

Shipping Policy
Sleepy’s – Bedroom Furniture & Sleep Shop offers free delivery & setup of mattresses or mattress sets Valley wide (Penticton to Vernon – Westside Rd. to Joe Rich Fire Station). For areas outside of these parameters, we can arrange your delivery for a fee. Please email sales@sleepys.ca for a quote. Orders under $199 (pillows, bedding or accessories) will ship for a $25 fee Canada-wide. Larger/heavier furniture items will have a shipping fee that can be calculated at checkout if ordering from outside of our local delivery area. There is a fee for delivery or delivery & setup in our local delivery area. Sleepy’s will adjust the rate based on what is being delivered and how far away from the store it is being to.
Shipping Times:
If the product you have ordered is in stock, we will prepare it for shipping right away. It will usually take one to two business days to have your product shipped and may take up to 7 business days to arrive at your home or depot. We are constantly working on improving our shipping times and we do see some shipments arrive earlier than the estimated delivery date. If you are checking the status of your shipment, please note that the tracking number does not mean that your delivery is en route yet. If you order a product that needs to be pre-ordered or made to order, you will see the estimated time to deliver. Please note that this is just an estimate and can vary due to unforeseen circumstances. If you do order a made to order product and an in stock product, your order will ship once all products are in stock and available. The estimated date will be available in your order confirmation email.
Exchanges and Returns Policy
We strive to get things right the first time. We are experts in finding you the just right mattress to suit your needs and usage.(budget, health, comfort, etc.) We offer mattresses that are different from most other stores, as we strive to offer our clients more for their money. With the purchase of any mattress, we offer a 90 night comfort trial.* If you are not completely satisfied with your new mattress, simply make arrangements with your salesperson to come into the store within 90 days to choose a new mattress at an equal or greater value. Sleepy’s require you to purchase a quality mattress protector at the same time as your mattress purchase to qualify for the comfort guarantee. Other products like furniture, bedding, pillows, etc. are a final sale. For hygienic reasons, we do not exchange or refund duvets, pillows, toppers, pillow or mattress protectors, bedding, etc. unless you have a valid warranty claim. These products are a final sale. Please ensure that you are selecting these items carefully before you make the purchase. The 90 night comfort trial does not apply to purchases outside of our free delivery area. Contact us for more details. Please note that the comfort trial allows for one exchange per customer. The original mattress must be in pristine condition and needs to be on an authorized support structure. A minimum $75 fee is applicable for the exchange.
